Modern houses look amazing with plantation shutters, perhaps in white, although there is a choice of colours and stains. Window shutters and shutter blinds have certainly become the window treatment of choice in Lowestoft.

Lowestoft is a delightful seaside town on the east coast, in the county of Suffolk. Situated just 22 miles from Norwich and 110 miles from London, it is popular with both residents and commuters. Lake Lothing divides the town and makes up Lowestoft harbour, which provides access to the extraordinary nature reserve, known as The Broads.
There is a long history here, with evidence pointing to it being one of the earliest settlements in England. Very much a seaside resort, there are beautiful, sandy beaches, two piers and all the usual attractions and leisure facilities.
Tourism is the main industry in Lowestoft and The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science is also located here. There are several ship building companies and the Birds Eye frozen food factory too. Add to this an attractive town centre and a wonderful promenade, it’s no wonder that the town is known as the “Sunrise Coast“.
There is an eclectic mix of properties, ranging from the characterful through to modern and stylish. We at Shuttercraft take great pride in being able to supply and fit our stunning interior shutters and plantation blinds here.
